More comfort at night

(version FR ici)

Apple recently introduced Dark Mode on iOS: darker colours are applied system wide, in place of the usual light ones. This feature is aesthetic, but also ergonomic. It lowers the quantity of light the screen emits, thus improving eye comfort. It’s possible to trigger it for a given period of time in the day – in the evening and at night for example. Le Baby adapts to this system setting, and will display a darker theme when asked to.

To further enhance visual comfort for newborn parents, Le Baby also features a Night Mode. This is specifically built to eliminate screen dazzling in complete darkness. Colors are darkened as much as possible, making the app fit for use after suddenly waking up to take care of baby with all lights off.

The other parent sleeping close-by and the baby focusing on feeding will also be far less disturbed by the screen’s light. Once activated, the Night Mode kicks in automatically and only when the ambiant light is very low. To activate Night Mode, head to the settings screen, and switch “dark theme at night” on.

As for all our features, the Night Mode was designed to make itself efficient while staying in the background, and let parents focus on the truly essential thing: taking care of your baby.
